Lifegroup Role Description

This is the basic role description for a Lifegroup leader at Antioch Waco. Your specific zone might have a more customized role description, so please consult with your Zone Pastor.

Calling

• You are a born again follower of Jesus and a member of Antioch Waco.

• You sense the Holy Spirit calling you to lead Lifegroup in this season

Character

• You are submitted to Jesus and an example to those you lead in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity (1 Timothy 4.12)

• Your life is bearing the fruits of the Spirit in increasing measure: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5.22-23)

Chemistry with Others

• You are excited about serving under the leadership of the church and serving with your co-leaders in humility, gentleness, patience, bearing with one another in love, and eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4.1-3)

Commitments:

• You are committed to meeting regularly with your Zone for encouragement, coaching and development

• You are committed to leading and building an Acts 2.42-47 community through Lifegroup

• You are committed to making disciples through Lifegroup.
