Lifegroup Night Hospitality Checklist

Hospitality is about creating space for God to work in people's hearts through genuine community.

Prayer & Leadership Team

• [ ] Meet with leadership team 1 hour before regular meeting time

• [ ] Pray for individuals in the group by name

• [ ] Pray for the evening's worship, discussion, and ministry time

• [ ] Review any special needs or celebrations to acknowledge

Home Setup

• [ ] Clean and organize main gathering area

• [ ] Set up seating in circle/conversational arrangement

• [ ] Prepare comfortable temperature and lighting

• [ ] Set up worship area (if using instruments/music)

• [ ] Designate and prepare children's area (if needed)

• [ ] Clear pathways and ensure accessibility

Food Preparation

• [ ] Prepare/arrange refreshments (coordinate rotation if applicable)

• [ ] Set up drinks station with water, coffee, tea, or other beverages

• [ ] Arrange plates, cups, napkins, and utensils

• [ ] Consider dietary restrictions and allergies of group members

• [ ] Have extra food available for unexpected visitors

Greeting Setup

• [ ] Assign greeters to welcome people at the door

• [ ] Prepare name tags for new visitors

• [ ] Have Lifegroup information/vision ready to share

• [ ] Create welcoming background music playlist

Social Connection

• [ ] Allow time for informal chatting and catching up

• [ ] Help connect new people with established members

• [ ] Be available to answer questions about the group

Materials Ready

• [ ] Prepare ice breaker questions or creative activities

• [ ] Have Bibles, study materials, and handouts ready

• [ ] Set up any needed audio/visual equipment

• [ ] Prepare prayer request cards or method for sharing needs
